I first met Sean (NoGlow) last summer at this bar in Bushwick, we were spinning a record release party for this split that he, and Goodnightmares had just put together, it was all very fresh and sudden. I mean The LxstBxys had just been founded not a week before. I was a fan of his sound from the get-go, this future juke, UK funky, east coast club mash up that he called music really got me going. When I first heard "If I Die" Cash4Gold was just getting started, and I got at Abe to try and reach out to Sean for a release. I'm pretty sure Abe got kinda annoyed with me constantly asking him if Sean would be down, but I stayed persistent because I knew this cat was on the verge of some proverbial gold. Low and behold I was correct, and maybe thats what being an A&R is all about, but I just knew we needed to work with this cat. And I'm happy that we finally got this release together. Best believe it wont be his last for the label.
